Tim Thomas is currently in pursuit of his Bachelors degree of Music Performance from Missouri Western State University. While at Missouri Western he has been selected to perform with the All Collegiate Band and selected to play Lead trumpet in the All Collegiate Jazz Orchestra. Tim took 4th place in the High Brass solo competition at the North American Brass Band Championships in 2008. In 2007 he was selected as alternate to the Disney All American Band. You can find Tim regularly performing around the Saint Joe area playing lead trumpet with the Ray Alburn Big Band and with his Quartet the "Jazz Express". Tim also can be found playing with the Saint Joe Symphony, in the Worlds of Fun "Power House" band, and at the New Dinner Theatre in Overland Park. He also recently played the National Anthem at a Royals game with some close friends from the Brass Band. Tim enjoys an active free-lance career and is a proud parent to his son Boston Xavier Thomas who he hopes to grow up and maybe follow in his shoes.
