Brass Expo VI

The Fountain City Bass Band is proud to present its annual free clinic entitled Brass Expo, Sunday, November 13th, 2011, beginning at 12:30 pm in the beautiful Bell Cultural Arts Center on the campus of MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, KS.

The Brass Expo is an event that is open to brass and percussionists of all ages and abilities. Attendees of the Expo perform in brass band and ensemble settings, participate in master classes and clinics, and share a performance with the internationally acclaimed Fountain City Brass Band.

Although the event is free and there is no audition required, the FCBB asks that you pre-register at www.fcyba.net so that we can place you in an appropriate ensemble.

Participants are asked to come in jeans and a free t-shirt will be supplied for the evening concert.

1:30 Reading session and ensemble skills
3:00 Sectionals/Work with tutors
4:30 Full Band practice
6:00 Dinner

7:00 Concert with Expo Bands and featuring
the Fountain City Brass Band
